Shipping and Handling
Shipping and Handling within the US will be by USPS Priority Mail.Warranty - TAPR will provide replacement units for dead on arrival (DOA) units that are promptly reported by the purchaser within 60 days after TAPR ships.
International shipping costs are calculated as closely as possible. If the actual cost exceeds the estimate by more than $10.00, TAPR will contact you to get approval for the additional funds. TAPR uses insured Priority Mail International, unless the purchaser requires something else.
Oncore GPS Receivers are "quoted" and/or "intended for sale/use as part of TAPR Kits." For a list of GPS related kits, please see the TAPR APRS/GPS web pages.
Please note: This unit does not come with an antenna and must be purchased as a separate item. This is not an enclosed/sealed unit. It is assumed that the purchasers will be installing the unit in another enclosure for normal and experimental operations.
The Motorola GT+ Oncore is a popular GPS receiver for general purpose location applications such as APRS. For low-cost, medium accuracy timing applications, the GT+ Oncore may be used in the W3IWI/TAPR Totally Accurate Clock 2 kit.
The output of the GT+ Oncore is in Motorola Binary Format (default) or NMEA (user selectable).
Recommended software for configuring and controlling the GT+ Oncore is W2GPS's TAC32.
