The D700 sends a $GPWPL to any GPS to update the waypoint position. All you will see is an updated map. The only trail the garmin will show is yours ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Amirault" <ramirault at erols.com> To: "TAPR APRS Mailing List" <aprssig at lists.tapr.org> Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2004 2:55 AM Subject: Re: [aprssig] waypoints of mobiles I run the GPS III (no +) with my D-700. You do not get tracks .. each waypoint received overwrites any previous waypoint .. so you only have the *last* postion received (not the first) from each mobile station. Richard in Boston, MA, USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rodney Padmore" Subject: [aprssig] waypoints of mobiles I wonder if my D7,connected to a GPSIII+,should show the track, or set of waypoints, on the GPSIII+. It appears to me that I can only get the first waypoint from any given mobile and no more after that. Am I doing something wrong or expecting too much, Tnx for any help, Rod Padmore,VE1BSK _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
