There's not much that can be done at the moment without access to the
hardware, logic analyzer, and all that.  It's still just a pile of
development boards and breadboards on my workbench.  Might be room for some
help in the future, though.

For the other, near-term project, if anyone's got a good example of some
code for handling carrier detect and clock extraction from a synchronous
modem IC (XR2211 in this case, MX614 code would probably be applicable), let
me know.  I've already got working prototype code, but if someone else has
more robust, proven code to do this, there's no point in re-inventing the
wheel.
