would at least help those who do not read the lists but may look at their

  APRS-servers, loads of users are connected, but not to the Tier 2.

  As for a count of UI-View users in general, at least registered, does
anyone
  have a number? Not that this would count for the donation, but to have an
  idea in general how wide-spread this application realy is?

  Today's 00:00Z count was 256 UI-View users connected to Tier 2.  That
  is about 40 more than yesterday.  This would amount to US$256 being
  sent to Roger's fund! It's great to see new users using UI-View and
  connecting to the Tier 2 network.  Remember, even if you don't
  regularly connect to the internet or to the Tier 2 network, give it a
  try on September 1!  At 00:00Z on September 1, we will take a reading
  of all UI-View stations connected to the Tier 2 servers, and send $1
  for every connection to Roger's fund.  I think we can get over 1,000
  connections!  Spread the word, it's for a great cause!

  Tier 2 information, including stats and how many UI-View users are
  currently connected to the network can be found at http://www.aprs2.net

  More detailed information about the tribute can be found at

  anywhere!
