Well.... I don't hook up a GPS to the D700 serial port. I plug the GPS into the three pin sub stereo jack I plug the PC into the serial jack. Kent KQ4KK How can the D700 work with plugging the GPS into the serial port? -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org] On Behalf Of Robert Bruninga Sent: Monday, July 19, 2004 7:28 PM To: aprssig at lists.tapr.org; ve7gdh at rac.ca Subject: Re: [aprssig] D700A gps interface problem D700 must have pins 6&7 eithere jumpered or fully connected for handshaking. Has Kenwood changed anything on the serial port? RS-232 voltage levels vs TTL? Just a thought... 73 es cul - Keith VE7GDH -- "I may be lost but I know exactly where I am" _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
