Has anyone out there experimented with Bluetooth/UART adapter chips? I'm still thinking about the possibility of building a bidirectional tracker with integrated GPS that'd talk to a PDA via Bluetooth and pretend to be a GPS itself. The idea is to give SAR teams a PDA for mapping that'll do the usual handheld GPS mapping functions, plus showing the locations of other teams, allowing the teams to set waypoints to mark tracks and sign, and allowing the command post to set waypoints indicating search assignments and things. I don't mind doing USB from scratch, but Bluetooth looks like it'd be too much of a pain, especially when it's only UART functions you're after. Scott N1VG
