Some of the FireNet crew is working on an Add-on for UI-View that will help users determine their ALOHA. It's in beta right now and working well. I think once people actually run this program within UI-View, they will begin to understand the issue. This will allow them to quickly determine their ALOHA and all them then to adjust their station to fit into it. 73 Jim, WA6OFT ----- Original Message ----- From: <aa3jy at winlink.org> To: <aprssig at lists.tapr.org> Sent: Thursday, November 25, 2004 8:31 AM Subject: [aprssig] WIDE Paths in a High Density Area But why are they all sending with a path of WID6-6 in the middle of the 'East Coast population density where the ALOHA circle is less than 50 miles and 2 hops is more than enough to cover an entire state!?
