Is it installed between the base of the transistor and ground? That's a configuration I've seen in a number of circuits, TT3 included, and I copied it in the OpenTracker. Seems to work fine. I buy .1uf caps by the thousand, now. =] Scott N1VG -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Wes Johnston Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2004 6:56 PM To: TAPR APRS Mailing List Subject: Re: [aprssig] TNC-x Well, I found the solution... I moved my .1uF cap from the radio plug all the way back to soldering it onto the leads of Q1, the PTT transistor. Working fine now. Now to get deviation set. Wes
