Actually, we do. Between dosAPRS and Xastir, we have MSDOS, FreeBSD, Solaris, MacOSX, Solaris, Linux, and Windows covered thoroughly with zoomable maps, range-scale, and even "pretty maps". I'd call that a fairly cross-platform coverage of the available systems! We also have MGRS and UTM in Xastir, for military and SAR-folks.
