ISS will be in packet mode often.  ECHO will some day enter APRS mode.
PCSAT2, ANDE and RAFT are all APRS satellites scheduled for launch in the
next year or so..  Other schools are working on APRS transpnonders...
Hence there will always be a need...  thanks   Bob
