[aprssig] timer kit?

You could always get a 'Surfboard' from DigiKey for about 4 or 5 dollars.
Those
small stamp size pieces of thin PCB material with SMT patterns on them,
designed
to prototype SMT circuits. Then build your own circuit with all SMT
parts.

555 timer. googling for SMT and timer isn't working out for me.... does
anyone know of a company who sells a small PCB smt timer kit? Maybe it's
a trainer for SMT soldering? I just need a logic level (ie low current)
timed pulse train.
