Kewl and some more http://www.tech-software.net/code.htm -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of APRS SIG Sent: Monday, 27 September 2004 2:50 AM To: aprssig at lists.tapr.org Subject: [aprssig] Perl code to filter packets I created a perl script that connects to APRS server and searches for a particular callsign. http://w9if.net/iweb/perlaprs/index.html While it works, it is inefficient since it has to look at millions of packets when only a few are needed. I believe javAPRSSrv allows the client to specify a port to have filtered packets sent. For example, it tells javAPRSSrv to send packets from W9IF only. I don't know how to do that in perl. Any suggestions? thanks in advance, Rich Parry, W9IF _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
