Not to long ago Ed, K1VP mentioned a new ham radio Linux liveboot disk. I went and tracked it down and downloaded it. I have been playing with it for several days now and am very impressed. There is a an enormous amount of ham radio software on there (to the expense of some more mainstream Linux apps according to its author) and its very nicely presented. ---------------------------------- Title: Harv's Hamshack Hack Current release: 0.6a 12 April 2005 Distribution: Knoppix ver 3.8, Kernel: 2.6 Website: <http://hamshack-hack.sourceforge.net/> Size: 532.4 MB ---------------------------------- For those without access to broadband, I have it available through Ye Olde Disk Shoppe on my website: <http://www.wulfden.org/DSiskShop.shtml> Stop in and browse there have been several new additions to the bill of fare. -- Cheers ... 73 de brian, n1bq, underhill center, vermont
