[aprssig] Telemetry - Options other than Kantronics?

Good Day:

I've been using the telemetry function on the KPC3+ for a solar digi 
site and it works well.   (THANKS  Steve! for the findu graphing - it's 
really handy). 

I've got another site that would be rather redundant as a digi, but 
would like to monitor the solar power system from there. 
Are there any other (read - cheaper) options for doing telemetry?   Any 
experiences with those?
