Yep, thats the problem. Its only one page. How and where they have the alias between .MIL and .EDU to both point to it is beyond me. >>> ve7gdh at rac.ca 12/10/05 1:12 PM >>> Bob WB4APR wrote on Dec 10 2005 > >It's too bad Bob couldn't put some goodies in the > >head of the old page for the robots to find so > >they would eventually de-list it in the search engines: > ><META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX"> > > Yep, it has always been the same page... Is it one and the same page with the two different URLs pointing to it? Guess you couldn't put the robots META tag in the head if it's the same page. However, if they are separate pages, you could just delete the MIL one or add the robot tag to it so the search engines would eventually drop it. I see the HamHud site www.hamhud.net among others still link to the .MIL site. Come to think of it, so does the UI-View site at www.ui-view.org, but that should be updated shortly! 73 es cul - Keith VE7GDH -- "I may be lost, but I know exactly where I am!" _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
