I will not consider (seriously) purchasing a D700 until they fix one little thing that literally makes the D700 act like a chirpy CW transmitter and worthy of an OO pink card with every APRS transmission. That's such a shame because in almost every other way it's an incredible radio. (It's a simple software fix - they already did it on the D7.) My suggestions: A. Write Kenwood B. Support hardware and software development that's open to extension and advancement. Bill - WA7NWP
