[aprssig] APRS for Skywarn ?

We use APRS here for Skywarn.  We have installed a full amateur radio 
station at our local NWS office.  We have APRS installed and running 
there.  They pick up the output from our weather stations and we use the 
APRS message capability to send in reports of snow, rain, wind, hail, 
etc.  Works great!
