The problem of EMAIL messages from the WU2Z EMAIL gateway
containing "500 5.5.1 Unknown command "." specified" or missing
message content is being investigated. 

The problem IS NOT originating at the WU2Z EMAIL gateway.  
The problem appears to occur on a server at the ISP but
the specific cause has not been identified. A few months ago
the ISP made changes in the servers that disrupted EMAIL
service for several days. The current problem may be related 
to that one.

Keith is attempting to temporarily move to a different ISP to
identify/locate the problem.
