I don't know... some of those Motorola techs are pretty shady characters. ;) Don't the Maxtracs come in a couple of versions? What's the best one to look for if you're watching eBay? You can get disc. audio straight from the Flat RX pin. I use all Motorola for APRS now, after burning up other so-called commercial grade amateur rigs.
