If you want your UI-View to display packets received by other satgates, sure. If you want to keep data flow going TO UI-View, then no (remember that filters only affect what is going to the client, not what comes from the client). By the way, 10150 on socal.aprs2.net (note: aprs2.net, not aprs.net) does not send keep-alive comment lines and is recommended for use by satgates that pay by the bit for their connection. Otherwise, I recommend port 14580 on the different javAPRSSrvr servers. 73, Pete Loveall AE5PL mailto:pete at ae5pl.net > -----Original Message----- > From: Andrew Rich > Posted At: Sunday, February 06, 2005 10:59 AM > Subject: RE: [aprssig] SATGATE setup Help needed > > Hey so tell me this, should I still use > > d/RS0ISS/W3ADO-1/PCSAT b/W3ADO-1/PCSAT-11/PCSAT-12 on any > definable filter port ? en aprs.net.au 14580 > > or > > xxxx on socal.aprs.net
