If you plan to buy one server or one computer for a project intended to 
be ongoing (i.e., permanent) you make a major mistake.

Plan for buying one new server every 3 to 5 years.

I realize the subject is how to upgrade _now_, but no later than the 
time this upgrade is complete you should be planning for the _next_ 
upgrade.
