How useful/important/desirable is a packet path trace? I realize it takes room in the packet (and bandwidth), but there are times it would be nice to know where a packet has been. I personally would like to have it optional, user-configurable. The best case scenario may be to design a traceroute mechanism (might as well, while we're designing routers. :) What is a TRACE only digi? Sounds like a RELAY to me... -Jason kg4wsv
