I calculate 7.03 metres. this was done using L(ft)=468/F(MHz) this accounts for end effect shortening. See ARRL Handbook. This difference should not be a big factor in reception as you attenuate external noise as much as the signal with a mismatch at 10 MHz. Your taxes are paying for some nice propagation data collected in Oz. Check the web site for current HF conditions 73, Jack KB4XF
