You know, there really is no universal path.... if folks in your area
would switch to NSR, the digiowners could determine what digi's served
40 stations.... which in your case seems to be more than 4 hops.  It
could be setup so that the city digi's only propagate packets
originating in the city area, and the outskirt digi's could digi the
stuff from the rural areas and the stuff heard from within the city
digis too.
