Paths are acted upon sequentially. Therefore, if you are in an area which has no digipeaters that digipeat RELAY, your packet will not be digipeated since RELAY is the first digipeater in the path. However, a NSR digipeater ( http://www.aprs-is.net/nosource_routing.htm ) will digipeat your packet regardless of your path. 73, Pete Loveall AE5PL mailto:pete at ae5pl.net ________________________________ From: Brad Smith Posted At: Friday, July 29, 2005 12:45 PM Subject: [aprssig] PATH clarification when travelling Specifically, if I'm in an area where RELAY has been discontinued, and a local digi hears the above packet, will it just ignore the RELAY and deal with the WIDE1-1? Or will the fact RELAY is in the packet cause the whole thing to be tossed out?
