OK feel free to experiment just don't destroy the existing system in the 
process.

This only applies if you give ME, as a potential recipient, a way to opt 
out or even better require ME to opt in before hand.  I don't want a ton of 
ham spam clogging my D-7 every time I turn it on.

In many ways I see this as another form of push technology.  It is also 
reminiscent of the messages that clogged BBS's in the good old days.

This would be a great way to harass someone that you don't like.  Just send 
multiple messages wishing him a great day.  As soon as he turned on the
