Rich, Actually TRACEn-N is being removed from service per Bob's new plan for APRS. WIDEn-N will be fully traceable (as TRACEn-N is now) and will allow for better diagnostics of the network. 73s, Eric KF4OTN kf4otn at amsat.org http://www.ericsatcom.net > -----Original Message----- > From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org > [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org] On Behalf Of Rich Osman > Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2005 07:25 > To: aprssig at lists.tapr.org > Subject: Re: [aprssig] Puget Sound packet hog counter > > > I also noticed that a lot of the people on the list are beaconing > "TRACE" Isn't > this a diagnositc tool, and doesn't it add a huge load on the network? > > Quoting Wes Johnston <aprs at kd4rdb.com>: > > > I just looked at the packet hog usage, and see that n7fsp is at the > > top of the > > >>> Here's on to take a look at. > >>> http://packet.fortgirlfriend.com/usage.html > > -- > mailto:Rich at Osman.com http://www.rich.osman.com > Rich Osman; POB 93167; Southlake, TX 76092 (Near DFW > Airport) ARS: N1OZ > > If you receive something that says "Send this to everyone you know," > PLEASE pretend you don't know me. > > > _______________________________________________ > aprssig mailing list > aprssig at lists.tapr.org > https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program.
