I'm interested in setting up some sort of logging system that does the following: Records timestamped packets received over the air Records timestamped positions Records signal levels Potentially down the road, records the off-the-air audio for later analysis (i.e. looking at collisions) A standard TNC and a GPS could probably do the first two, trivially, by just spewing the two serial data streams into a text file The third one (levels) is a bit trickier. So, I've been thinking along the lines of a PCR1000 (which can provide level over the RS232 interface) and a software decoder of the packets, possibly with some way to shoot the data (when the receiver unsquelches) into WAV or AU or raw files. Any other ideas? Jim, W6RMK
