The D-700 has so many features (that work) compared to others they are 
all a rip off and you get  less for the money.
You have to own one to know what it will do.
Like cell phones , many do not ever learn and use all of its features.
It has a big learning curve, not because it is complicated, but because 
of the many features.
D-7a also, but only if you use the features.
