Come take a look at the PC I sometimes have in my Jeep... Runs a touch-screen and Linux/Xastir. Talks to me while I drive too via the Festival speech synthesizer. Every bit of software on the box is open-source and free. Yea, you need a touch-screen driver. I found one that works with this box. I've written a touch-screen driver for another type of touch screen before, using an existing one as a template. You can often find a driver these days for any particular touchscreen. -- Curt, WE7U.
