No, I wasn't sure about the callsign (hence the question mark behind the callsign). You are correct, it is K3VOA. I think that was my key digipeater to getting into the network when I was up there last. Hopefully I'll have be successful while I'm up there. 73s, Eric KF4OTN ________________________________ From: JD Delancy [mailto:w1jd at drix.net] Sent: Sat 08-Oct-05 13:28 To: TAPR APRSSIG Subject: APRS in DC K1VOA ? YOu sure about that, last I knew it was K3VOA; K1VOA lives in NC There are numerous APRS digi's around the area. Some of them like WX3SMD-13, KG4ICG, N3IJW, and KV3B pretty much "ring" DC around the beltway jd ----------------original message---------------- Date: Fri, 7 Oct 2005 16:44:38 -0400 From: "Christensen, Eric H" <CHRISTENSENE at MAIL.ECU.EDU> Subject: [aprssig] APRS in DC To: "aprssig at lists.tapr.org" <aprssig at lists.tapr.org> Message-ID: <C9051C38-98EC-4927-A552-D7B1E667A074 at mimectl> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Last December when I was in DC I found K1VOA? at the VOA Office serving as a digipeater. I just looked but couldn't find it online today. Anyone tell me if it is still up and running? I'll be headed to DC in the next few weeks and I want to venture out on APRS while I'm up there. 73s, Eric KF4OTN -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
