Well, I guess I've been mis-informed then.  I was under the impression that 
it couldn't do WIDEn-N properly.  Regardless, you're right - it's a very 
expensive piece of hardware to dedicate to digi operation.  And we won't get 
into the missing pre-emphasis issue...
