The full time TEMPn-N digi with part time WIDE1-1 for mobile and 
portable stations (usually D700's) seems a great idea to me.  Tagging 
those who have turned it on with something in their status message or 
Icon seems a good way to bring recognition and help track the change. 
Hmmm.   Maybe a similar 'tag' for folks running Tone Alert would be good.
