The HK-21 is a Tasco TNC, similar in nature but not identical to those used in the D7(00). It won't use HandiPacket or TNC-2 EPROMS. gerry Bruce & Leigh Coates wrote: > Hi Bill > > The Heath HK-21 can not use any of the same ROM's that TNC-2 clones can. > I'm not sure about the HandiPacket. > > 73, Bruce - VE5BNC > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Vodall WA7NWP" <wa7nwp at jnos.org> > To: "TAPR APRS Mailing List" <aprssig at lists.tapr.org> > > >> Does anybody here know if either the Paccomm HandiPacket or the Heath >> HK-21 are enough Tiny2 compatable to allow running UIDIGI/X1J style >> firmware? > > > > _______________________________________________ > aprssig mailing list > aprssig at lists.tapr.org > https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -- Gerry Creager -- gerry.creager at tamu.edu Texas Mesonet -- AATLT, Texas A&M University Cell: 979.229.5301 Office: 979.458.4020 FAX: 979.847.8578 Page: 979.228.0173 Office: 903A Eller Bldg, TAMU, College Station, TX 77843
