Xastir works great with OS X.  The only features that don't work are  
festival (linux specific speech synthesis package) and ax.25 kernel  
support (linux kernel specific code).  A few of the support packages  
can be annoying to build, but there are instructions out there on how  
to build them for xastir, and darwinports and/or fink utilities can  
help with those.
