For those that manufacture stuff... Check out FTDI's website. http://www.ftdichip.com/ They make and sell chip's chipsets' and adapters you can add to existing serial equipped devices, to give them a USB port, for use with the modern crop of PC's. The prices are good too. Full hardware handshake (and ability to power devices from them) too. Good support world wide also... I'm a happy user, that is all, no commercial attachment to them in any way. Dave B.
