Hi All, I'm going to go to Louisiana later this week and was wondering if I should setup an I-gate in the areas. I don't see a whole lot of activity on the map. Is there any health and welfare traffic being handled locally in the effected areas? I'll be helping to provide internet access from effected areas. I can as a secondary project link up an APRS station to the internet and try to get the area's activities on the map. The only issue is, I'll only be there for 5 days and a rotation occurs. I will try to get this up and running but would like to know how beneficial this would be. I will be stationed at either Bogalusa, Gonzales or Lake Charles. From what I hear, these are regionally central points of service for the effected regions in Lousiana. 73 de Pat --- KA9SCF. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
