I did another packet sniff using ethereal and captured just these two packets going from my PC One from XASTIR as the transport and the other by hand from a telnet. XASTIR sends to APRS IS (does not work) PCSAT2>BEACON,SGATE,WIDE,VK4TEC-10*,I:T#918,142,144,002,095,073,11111111,0001,1 When you send by hand (works) PCSAT2>BEACON,SGATE,WIDE:T#918,142,144,002,095,073,11111111,0001,1 ---------------- Testing ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I connected to XASTIR on port 2023 using telnet and sent "PCSAT2>BEACON,SGATE,WIDE:T#918,142,144,002,095,073,11111111,0001,1" 192.168.1.100 ---> 210.193.156.78 (second.aprs.net) # javAPRSSrvr 3.10b02 29 Sep 2005 18:14:08 GMT T2AUST-2 192.168.88.21:14580 # javAPRSSrvr 3.10b02 29 Sep 2005 18:14:28 GMT T2AUST-2 192.168.88.21:14580 # javAPRSSrvr 3.10b02 29 Sep 2005 18:14:48 GMT T2AUST-2 192.168.88.21:14580 PCSAT2>BEACON,SGATE,WIDE,VK4TEC-10*,I:T#918,142,144,002,095,073,11111111,0001,1 # javAPRSSrvr 3.10b02 29 Sep 2005 18:15:08 GMT T2AUST-2 192.168.88.21:14580 findu.com reports nothing for this packet *** But yet when I send by hand from telnet to the server linux:~/.xastir/logs # telnet second.aprs.net 14580 Trying 134.173.254.38...
