Note also that since the D700 (and D7) use non-standard flat audio for their
1200 baud AFSK, there will be digi's and stations that don't always decode
the D700's packets even though the signal is strong enough.  I think
I'm noticing that now myself and finding a surprsing number of packets
not processed.
