Assuming it's an 18LVC or an 18PC with the regulator (inside cig  
lighter plug) chopped off, yes.

Max 500mA per device, IIRC.  It shouldn't have any trouble with the  
18.  Another data point is the 18USB, which runs off USB power (too  
bad that one won't NMEA).
