What I used is RS 273-1380, "miniature audio output transformer."  In  
smaller print it says "1K ohm center tapped to 8 ohms".

The URL in my previous message lists this part number as well as the  
RS part number for a 1:1.  I've been using old modem transformers  
where a 1:1 was called for; I haven't actually bought one.

I don't remember if they had the 1:1 in stock, since I wasn't looking  
for one.
