See http://www.kantronics.com/documents/kpc3ppinout.pdf Pin1 is the frmae ground Pin13 is analog channel 1 input Pin 15 is not used. This suggests that the KPC-3+ was modified to monitor some voltage with the telemetry function. I have seen this arrangement used to monitor supply votage or digi temperature. WB4APR has suggested several uses for the KPC-3+ telemetry channels over the years on this sig. Jack/KB4XF
