Huh???   Are you sure you are talking about the same radio?  

Sounds like you are referring to an HF rig.  What kind of auto tuner 
would work on two meters?     

The Kenwood TM-D700  2M/UHF dualband APRS radio comes with it's 
separation cable standard; indeed  there is no way to combine the 
control head and chassis even if you want to.  And it comes with a 
mounting bracket standard.
