Has anyone used a SiGEM SGM5608 GPS engine in a tracker? I have some and would like to communicate with the GPS. I have the pinout to the receiver, what I would like to know is the communications protocol and can the receiver speak NMEA 0183. These were used in a tracker that communicated via short range 902 MHz and GSM. The tracker was made by Minorplanet in the UK. The interface schematics are available on the FCC web page. An help appreciated. 73 Glenn WB4UIV
