The german based baycom has a 4 port scc card for pci, you plug in the 
modems you need.
It doesn´t work the same way as a tnc because it has no firmware but I´m 
pretty sure agwpe can be used with it.
You probably know baycom as the inventor of the serial modem like the 
one paccom sells.
They have a long history in tncless packet modems.
