[aprssig] The best resolution of position from APRS

I am not sure how the discussion on position accuracy turned into kenwood
wars but anyway.

Would it not make sense that THE best accuracy would be obtained by sending
the RAW GPRMC string in its entirity ?

What I was trying to say was that UI-View however it sends, only lets you
INPUT your location in a position limited format.

I will write something in perl , and move my house around and see what I can
get out of google earth.

Copying from the Help File of UI-View32;

Compressed - If this option is checked, then your position is
transmitted in APRS compressed format. Please note that some software
can't decode compressed format, and also it makes your beacons
completely meaningless to any casual observer using a simple terminal
program, so use this option with caution.

I wonder if Roger used Base-91 Compressed format?

So far, I find no further information yet... I assume if he programmed
it to be sent, it would receive it, :-)
