You are assuming wrong. NMEA carries the position always in integer degrees and decimal minutes. So you have 27 degrees 34.4576 minutes and 27 degrees 34.4577 minutes. Because one minute is 1852 meters, 0.0001 minutes (N/S direction) is a bit under 20 cm. Tapio
