Am still trying to implement all of the spec that I can. Of course discussions like this where someone attempts to drag Xastir through the mud in order to prove their point most likely extend the time that it'll take to get it implemented. Many other things on the feature request list become more interesting about now... > I read it as conditional and further wheteher you implement it > or not is not of concern to me. And the default for Xastir will continue to be non-compressed posits and non-compressed objects/items. There's a togglebutton to enable that for both classes. Most people don't enable it. We have to do zero code changes in order that our users can produce objects that are acceptable to Kenwoods. > Im just trying to do what is best for the APRS comunity, > including thousands of kenwood users to make sure that > everyone sees at least what they see now. Main thing is we're both working toward the betterment of APRS, just with different viewpoints as to how to define that. -- Curt, WE7U.
