Nope.  Am still trying to implement all of the spec that I can.  Of
course discussions like this where someone attempts to drag Xastir
through the mud in order to prove their point most likely extend the
time that it'll take to get it implemented.  Many other things on
the feature request list become more interesting about now...

And the default for Xastir will continue to be non-compressed posits
and non-compressed objects/items.  There's a togglebutton to enable
that for both classes.  Most people don't enable it.  We have to do
zero code changes in order that our users can produce objects that
are acceptable to Kenwoods.

What you see as best, I see as a detriment to the future of APRS.
I assume you feel likewise about my point of view.  Main thing is
we're both working toward the betterment of APRS, just with
different viewpoints as to how to define that.
