Insisting on using an obsolete format for objects that cannot be seen on the Kenwoods is indeed scary to me. My job is to try to keep APRS workable and useable by everyone without this becoming a war of "everyone use my software if you want it to work" or "you must use my software to participate in this SAR or this event" because it is using incompatible formats with everyone else. de WB4APR, Bob -- Curt, WE7U. APRS Client Comparisons: http://www.eskimo.com/~archer "Lotto: A tax on people who are bad at math." -- unknown "Windows: Microsoft's tax on computer illiterates." -- WE7U "The world DOES revolve around me: I picked the coordinate system!" _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
