Something we found absolutely incredible... the rino130 unit (could've been any big memory gps) has enough memory to store street maps of the _entire_ state of SC. At our recent event in a town I've never been to, I was able to find the police station and see all the streets in the town. Our comms trailer arrived about 45 minutes after me at which time we were able to print a map of the town to distribute to the troops so they'd know their way around. Wes ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Bruninga" <bruninga at usna.edu> they should develop the locations of all things that might be of interest during an emergency (beforehand). All APRS software can do overlays so that it is trivial to overlay these objects on maps as needed. de WB4APR
